Anyone interested in a Trail Hunter rear diff skid plate for a non-hybrid? I ordered PT228-89254 after the parts dept said it fit. It does not fit.
Rather than sending it back, I’d like to offer it to someone that it will work for for a discounted price. I’m in Newport News, VA someone local...
Was the rear diff skid you received PT22889254 and did it work on your Pro?
Also, did it come with 2 rubber spacers that insert into the left and right sides of the skid plate? Not talking about the rubber inserts for the brackets.
I just got my rear diff skid in (PT228-89254) which I verified was for the hybrid but it didnt come with the rubber spacers that go on the left and right ends of the plate like the one posted in this thread. Anyone else install the rear diff skid on a hybrid yet?
Very much appreciated!
I switched out the rear springs and Peak Puck Spacer for Dobinsons C59-817V springs and it performs so much better with or without the trailer.
I have run Sumo Springs bump stops for years on my 5th Gen and loved them which got me to wondering if they have them for the 6th Gen. I called yesterday and they said that they aren't on the schedule to produce for the time being. This got me to thinking, again... The 4th Gen Tacoma has the...
This is a part number I haven’t seen yet!
I recently tried adding the TH vin but didn’t get this result. This one seems to be the most promising one to date though. My only concern is the Tacoma one is like $900. This low price has me wondering if this might not be what we are looking for...
Me too. I am a bit OCD and get fixated on a topic and go overboard. Hence reading every post on this topic and cross checking part numbers at the dealer.
I feel like this is an easy fix but just need to get one person to look. I’ve been asking for 2 months now in various locations with no hits.
Sorry, I didn’t realize that was you :)
As for the part #s Spike posted, he was replying to me :)
These are not the parts we are looking for.
Those are ARB accessories. The $600ish part is a ARB single compressor in a bag. Trust me, I have read every thread and have cross checked every part...
I’ve replied to that thread before. I am specifically looking for the 4Runner specific one.
For you, have you popped that tray out yet and looked around? My Pro has the wire harness already in there. Just need the compressor/mount/display. Just cut a hole for the display and I’m set.
Nah, the Tacoma one is different than the 4Runner one.
Trust me, I have read every thread on this topic on the internet and the information just isn’t there lol.
This is why I’m asking for someone to look at their own.
I need to ask a favor of those with the Trailhunter On Board Air. Would you mind popping out the tray on the wheel well hump (where the compressor is mounted and see if there is a part number on the compressor, mounting bracket, or the display? I have been searching for months (its not on the...
The 6th gen is a completely different beast than the 5th. It has so much more power. I honestly didn’t notice a difference with the tire change. I don’t think changing the gears is necessary at all.
