  1. Nightmare at 10,000 miles on TRD ORP Hybrid?

Having that diesel 2.8 here would be a dream come true! It's been in production since 2015 and so far it's bulletproof/ powerful and quite efficient. Sorry for derailing the thread. Hope OP's issue is just a faulty battery.
  2. MILES TILL EMPTY

It is, you can see it change every fill up. I typically get 340-350 displayed. In some instances of known low mpg it displayed 290-310.
  3. Nightmare at 10,000 miles on TRD ORP Hybrid?

Hopefully it's just a faulty battery or bad connection. Keep us posted.
  4. 2026 Trailhunter Delivery

Awesome! Congratulations! I Absolutelly love mine and hope you do as well. I can't believe it's a 26' already!I guess I could say mine is a 25.5' year model! it was built in April.;)
  5. Restricted turn radius in 4H

Add on : The front wheels rotate faster than rear wheels when turning. The more the turn the more spin difference between front and rear wheels. A center limited slip differential is the solution for 4x4 vehicles since the drivelines are spinning at different speeds. Full time 4x4 like Platinum...
  6. Bought my first 4Runner - mods suggestions?

Clearcoat is softer than butter on these: - first gravel road and ended up with several chips on rear door past the paint... - I PPF a partial hood a few weeks in and it had a rock chip already. - there are more silly scratches I made to clear. There are other post out here with folks...
  7. Bought my first 4Runner - mods suggestions?

I second that ! Ask me how I know....
  8. Lasfit or Weathertech Floor Mats?

I got the LASFIT to replace Amazon ones, just because they were free from ma friend. Trailhunter originals are no good. I like the new coverage they provide.
  9. Dealer wanting to run credit check even though paying cash?

It's bizarre that they are asking for that now....Once you are with a Finance guy/gal, then I get it... I was in talks for a few months with dealer before purchasing the vehicle. I showed up with check from Credit Union (Finance) plus down payment the day of. All word of mouth and true to it...
  10. Reduced power see dealer warning

Thanks for the update, regardless of how clueless they probably were.... Same here, so fat it's been a solid machine! Almost 17K and a few long trips too. I suspect after reading here since it has happened to both Hybrid and gas, it could be a transmission hiccup on a downshift that trigger...
  11. Reduced power see dealer warning

Oh sorry! I completely missed that... now I'm clueless!
  12. Reduced power see dealer warning

Wonder if it has anything to do with a "Hicup" in the clutch plate system inside the electric motor. My understanding of the I-force MAX operation is that the input shaft of EV unit (coming from engine crank) is not physically connected to output shaft going to Torque converter, transmission...
  13. First Oil Change for Hybrid iForce Max?

Yeah, no issues here for us. As good practice and maybe to sleep better at night do it sooner than later. I did mine @ 1.9K , then @ 6k , 11k and last one @ 16k. Will probably do the next one at 20K jsut to stay in the odd 5K intervals. Enjoy the truck!
  14. Reduced power see dealer warning

Keep us posted OP. Following. Waw you are almost reaching 30K miles!
  15. Hybrid Real World MPG (iForce Max) - post your model, specs, general driving conditions, results:

Last few tanks I was into the 21 mpg range. As the weather in TX finally dropped below 90..... currently @ 16.7K
  16. 6G Paint Questions - Durability? Ceramic Coat or PPF?

NOTE OF ADVICE : never run one of these through a carwash unless you want swirls everywhere. After reading more of the comments it confirmed my theory. I implored the dealer to leave the truck as it came off the ship. "Are you sure? we only hand wash them" they said... I did not want to risk...
  17. Do you change your own oil or have Toyota service center do it?

Nice, It should all go very smoothly. Those Valves do look tempting as well.!
  18. Do you change your own oil or have Toyota service center do it?

Yes, forgot to mention that. I did 4 wheels on the ground but had just enough space to remove skid plate ( 6 bolts) and do the rest, etc....with ease. I have a TH, so maybe the factory lift adds just a hair more space than a TRD OR. For sake of more comfort while doing it next time I might...
  19. 6G Paint Questions - Durability? Ceramic Coat or PPF?

I believe you 100% the clear coat on these is softer than butter.... Hand washed only so far and no swirls, but rock chips on doors, and silly scratches I made by breathing on it.... OP I would go with Ice cap if scratches will bother you....Otherwise EVEREST is an amazing color. If you got the...
  20. Do you change your own oil or have Toyota service center do it?

I got the first 2 free ones done at the Dealer. Afterwards I played for one at the Dealer since I had to go anyways for the last Toyota care tire rotation. Not doing that again...I had to correct them on 5.9qt vs the 7qt they had on the bill.... Did my 4th one yesterday at home and it is a...
