so you are quoting cost of the part but not the install time and cost of the person at the port to install that item?
i guess your time is free technically but its still costing you something to take time out of your day to install it.
and also comsumer installed PIO only get a 1 yr warranty...
question? what type of batteries are in that emergency light? rechargeables? standard type?
if standard type, you might want to be careful since they will eventually corrode/leak and ruin that light.
never go with a dealer supplied extended warranty. they are always marked up 500-1500 or more to pad the F&I pockets.
you can get a toyota oem vsa warranty at pretty much $1500 or less depending on how you do the months/mileage matrix
i think the most you have to pay is like $2000 for a the...
yes, but consumers buy from fleet also. you can get deals you normally cant with consumer sales.
edit : also you can get deliveries that sometimes you cant always get via normal dealers sales since they supply differently via fleet than retail sales.
i dont see it as much anymore, but about...
torque is mostly a read only app and reset codes. you have to be able to do what techstream can do and change variables. carista mimics techstream so thats how that app works.
and you can pay like $10 for a month and be done with it. i gave up trying to keep techstream on a laptop, just easier...
ok so the toyota video is over a year old so they probably didnt update brochures or manuals. but the concept looks just like lane departure, lane tracing, dynamic cruise control, and proactive driving assist systems in play working together.
i think that was the concept but lawyers probably...
the only place i have heard of TJA is in this thread. i know you posted screenshots but outside of that i see no mention of it. its not even in the owners manual.
the only thing i can think of that fits this is maybe dynamic cruise control in conjunction with proactive driving assist which...
here is more info...
The "fake engine noise" setting on a Toyota is called "Engine Sound Enhancement" (ESE), and it can be accessed and adjusted through the vehicle's onboard diagnostics system (OBDII) using a tool like a Carista adapter, allowing you to turn it off if you wish to hear the real...
the way toyota pipes in fake engine noise is mostly noticable at lower speeds. once you get up in speed its toned down in volume somewhat, but its also dependent on headunit volume.
the fake engine noise volume is independently controlled by another module outside of the headunit volume control.
the section in green is only TSS 3.0
the section in red is talking about those features only part of those trims that include PVM and MTM respectively which is outside of the features of TSS 3.0
hence the period is critical in reading and the wording "recieve"
lol you didnt read that paragraph correctly
please note the location of the period.
you are mis reading the part about where is starts with TRD Sport and on.
TSS 3.0 features are standard across all trims.
the period then denotes the special features mentioned after TSS 3.0 only inherent...
not exactly, this is fleet status which has a slower delivery window than consumer fulfillment. comsumer fulfillment is usually about 1/2 the timeframe or shorter of fleet status.
i was using it to give an idea of when maybe HV's might start shipments. all they show right now is non HV shipment...
i know not many people know about looking at fleet status, but it gives a little insight to the build and production cycle of toyota.
here is a screenshot of some of the info you can get publicly
2nd pic you can see there is no info on the hybrids delivery windows
