yeah here is my 23 tundra from initial status to final status in pics.
original allocation reserve request was submitted 5-4-2022, after wife got tired of waiting we took a slightly different allocation and got a build date faster.

i forgot the exact week each month but it does happen twice a month. there was a obscure post about the allocation fulfillment timeframe each month on the tundra forums about this.
if i remember its the 1 and 3 week of the month.
since most of your post is geared toward daily use and family use, the answer really is easy and go for the limited.
the use case for the pro seems limited to maybe 10-20% of your use case which in the long run is better suited for the limited.
well i usually go with duratracs, defender ltx p-rated versions since i rarely go off roading.
cross climates are a good new option from what i have read. really any decently reviewed all season snowflake tire is better than the grandtreks a20's
