I tried searching and couldn't really find any useful solutions. Yes, already checked tire pressure. I hate to say it but it just rides like crap on bumpy roads. Even my wife who has a 23 TRD ORP and is a huge 4runner fangirl thinks the ride kind of sucks. Anyone have suggestions for aftermarket...
Well I took it in to the dealer and they confirmed the noise. Then they said it was normal because they had 2 other 2025 4Runners in their service bay and they supposedly made the same noise. When I asked for them to send me a video of the other 4Runners making the same noise they said they were...
Reviving this post because I’m wondering this too. Anyone know if we can purchase a fox or old man emu oem type kit and install on a ORP? What about other aftermarket options? I haven’t found any shock/spring/coil over options for the 2025 online and I’m really hoping to improve the harshness of...
My driver side interior door panel has started creaking. It makes the noise whenever I push the door open or pull it closed. Basically when the plastic door panel flexes. Does anyone else's do this?
Yeah, I like the look of 18" wheels so don't really want to go down to 17" just to get Load C. I'm considering the Wrangler Duratrac RT. It's 2ply under the tread but 3ply sidewalls with kevlar for added puncture resistance. Anyone try these?
Honestly, if ride quality is a deal breaker you may want to just try another brand altogether. I test drove the LC and it was still jittery (though a tiny bit better than the 4Runner). I also had a 2024 Tundra briefly, also jittery. I’ve been wondering if the TNGA platform has something to do...
Looking for AT tires, with good dry/wet performance (not worried as much about mud/snow). I don't plan on lifting it any time soon, so either stock size or slightly bigger if it will fit. Everything I read online suggests that Load C would be better than Load E for ride quality and occasional...
Ok I decided to take them off. It’s just six 12mm bolts per running board. Seems easy enough to reinstall if I change my mind.
I think it looks better with them on but it’s a lot easier to get in and out without them (weird). Maybe I’ll get some low profile rock sliders.
I like the look of the fixed running boards but don't use them and they kind of get in the way of getting in and out of the 4runner. I think they're mounted to the body and not the frame, so I don't know how much protection they'd provide. What do you think...keep them or remove them?
Does anyone know the part number for the optional Black 18" TRD Wheels for the ORP? Do I have to order the center caps as well or do they come with it?
I drank the cool-aid and bought a pressure washer and foam canon (both good quality) and tried lots of high end products and honestly…I don’t like the foam canon results. I think it’s just a gimmick. Same with the air blowers.
I prefer:
Just a hose and the “two bucket method.”
Microfiber wash...
Anyone try the GY Wrangler Duratrac RT with their 4runner? I don't see many people running this on 4runners. I had them on my Ram Rebel and liked them but am curious how they feel on the 4runner. Discount Tire has them in SL rating but I've heard they're still 3-ply sidewalls. Anyone have...
I know what you’re talking about. I think my TRD ORP is a little jittery too. Had a similar experience with the new Tundra as well. I wonder if it’s just a characteristic of the TNGA platform. Lowering PSI to what is recommended on the door sticker helped a tiny bit. I’m just learning to live...
Make sure to test drive one first. I was all set to buy a limited until I drove one...jarring is an understatement. Went with a TRD ORP instead and am quite happy with it. IMO drove a lot better than the limited.
For anyone interested, here are a few dealerships I found to have decent pricing while shopping for my 4Runner.
Perry Motors (Bishop CA): $500 below MSRP, no dealer add ons. This is where I bought mine. It's about 5 hours from where I live, so I paid to have it delivered. Nice mom and pop...
This may be a dumb question but does the recommended PSI change based on tire size and brand? I know the door jam sticker recommends 33 PSI, but mine came from the factory with 48 PSI. It seems like a lot to reduce it down to 33 and just want to see what everyone else is running. I'm on the...
I just got my TRD ORP delivered today and the seat memory wasn’t working. The seat would beep whenever I moved it in any direction. Here’s the fix I found on Toyota Nation. Just sharing here in case anyone else has the same issue.
“I have distilled the instructions below … basically, you have...
