So there are two recovery points in the front and one on the rear right. I noticed two holes, one on each side of the trailer hitch mount. Can these also function as recovery points or are they just for trailer safety chains?
I’d like the rear recovery point to match the anodized fronts from Toyota that I got as a PIO. Toyota only has a red recovery point for the Tundra and it’s not compatible with 4Runner.
On-X just kinda took me there and dropped me off in the middle of the area. I wasn’t sure if I kept on going that I’d come out on the other side or just go around in a circle.
I took my first off-road run yesterday. Seriously, at about 2,500 miles this was the first time I drove in anything but 2H!!! I drove up to the Rapidan Wildlife Management Area here in Virginia. Tried out 4H and 4L; everything worked great once I reminded myself to go through neutral before...
Okay, after testing multiple settings (keep in mind that I was reasonably satisfied to start with) I’ve found that setting bass to max and highs and mid-range to halfway up, then setting fader to the middle of the back seats, produces the best sound. I can hear the subwoofer just fine. Sure, the...
Well okay… if that means this string comes to an end after discovering that for all your expertise you didn’t even check tire inflation (on the dash!). My TRD Pro rides great. No worries!
I have my fader set mid-cabin. It sounds pretty good, but I’d agree that the bass underperforms. I’m going to try treble and bass on high and mid on low and see what happens
I had them added as a PIO and I agree they look great>. I wish they had a red hook for the back too. I think they have it for the Tundra, but it doesn’t fin 4Runner.
Ditch lights were my first mod; like the look and they really help when more light is needed. Puddle lights were a super easy add-on, as was the hitch light reverse with brake strobe.
About 7 miles. Bought at MSRP. Only five miles on the odometer. That said, I did work with a dealer friend for about a year, waiting for exactly what I wanted. Patience helps.
Well, that’s probably the same as 400 in total. I’m unaware that any Mudbaths were in the U.S. prior to April 8th, unless they were a handful of yet to be finalized demos to help promote Toyota.
Thanks. The Mudbath seems to still be a unicorn. It took me over a year to get and I’ve had it for just a couple months. Total pleased with how it runs. Early first oil change coming up this week. I’ve yet to see any 2025 trim in the wild yet and the Mudbath is the rarest of them all.
Can you do an update on the total number of Mudbath Pros that've made it to the U.S. so far? If I'm correct this list shows 112 currently available or in transit. A couple of months ago, there were about 300 in the U.S., either sold or available. I'm guessing that number is probably 500-600 now.
I went ahead and bought the hitch light with brake strobe and installed it on my TRD Pro today. So far no error messages and the Pro definitely has the towing package. I can't really see all the functions from the driver seat, but the tail light does flash when I open the lift back door, so I...
My TRD Pro rides great. I did move the shocks to the middle setting because I’m used to stiffer handling from driving sports cars. No problem at all with the ride quality of my TRD Pro!
