  1. Diode Dynamics Hitch-mount LED lighting pod

Do you also have the tow package?
  2. Diode Dynamics Hitch-mount LED lighting pod

I kinda wanted it for the F1-like brake strobe, but I’m not sure it will work.
  3. Diode Dynamics Hitch-mount LED lighting pod

Has anyone installed one of these on a TRD Pro? It looks pretty simple, but I’m wondering if it will trigger tow-package messages because it connects through that wiring harness. https://www.diodedynamics.com/hitchmount-led-pod-reverse-kit-for-2025-toyota-4runner.html
  4. Mudbath Pro Review after 1,000 Miles

Totally positive! The Pro comes stock with most of what buyers of other trims are building after market -ultimately at about the same cost and often without nice to have things like heated and cooled seats, etc. If you are into crawling around with wrenches, I understand, but that’s just not...
  5. Installing ARB On-board Air Compressor?

I'm looking at options for re-inflating tires. Originally, I was thinking that the portable twin brushless unit from ARB would be the best way to go, but it's also the most costly and would take up storage space inside the truck. I'm now thinking that going on-board under the hood with a...
  6. Ballin' on a Budget - Underground TRD Off-Road Hybrid Build

Tell me about that Anker Power Bank in the back. I like their products, but they don’t have anything like this on their website. I’m thinking that having remote power for an induction cooking plate would be a lot easier than a gas stove.
  7. What do you do for work?

Work? 30 years in newspapers and 17 in magazines. My job now is to have fun and the TRD Pro is making it happen!šŸ˜Ž
  8. SXTH Element Prototype Rear Recovery Point (4runner 6th Gen) – Feedback Wanted

Looks like what I had in mind. How close is the color match to the OEM Toyota front recovery points?
  9. Mudbath TRD Pro - Review at 600 miles and counting

We don’t get much snow, less every year, so I haven’t been thinking about rust-proofing. Should I? Is it a known issue for Toyota?
  10. Mudbath TRD Pro - Review at 600 miles and counting

Okay, so break-in mileage is over. I'm totally delighted with my entire experience thus far. I worked on getting this 25 Pro in Mudbath for over a year. It may have helped that the GM at my dealership has been a friend for decades and I've bought several cars from him (mostly Mercedes.) When...
  11. Front Brake Squeal Noise Fix - official TSB brakes fix! (TSB-0046-25)

I’m a couple weeks in, 490 miles on my PRO, no brake issues at all. Not sure if this issue is widespread.
  12. Toyota Factory Door Edge Guards - install instructions / photos?

It’s really all about how picky you are about parking and walking or just taking two spaces on the diagonal. Nothing can really protect you from other careless drivers.
  13. TRD Pro vs. Trailhunter — Which One's Right for Me?

My choice of the PRO was because it’s really the top of the line. Mudbath beats odd green and the snorkel looks weird, a non-starter for me even before knowing that it makes obnoxious sounds.
  14. My Mudbath TRD Pro build - XPEL PPF, ceramic coating, ARB roof rack, ARB traction boards, red recovery hooks, Rigid ditch lights, etc.

More photos of my build. Mostly OEM and understated. That said, the PRO has everything that the other trims lack without having to pay up for mods. My first off-road vehicle and it drives like a dream. 10 miles left on break-in. Bigger review to come…
  15. My Mudbath TRD Pro build - XPEL PPF, ceramic coating, ARB roof rack, ARB traction boards, red recovery hooks, Rigid ditch lights, etc.

Not sure, but. I’ll find out. It looks so good, that I can’t tell for certain.
  16. My Mudbath TRD Pro build - XPEL PPF, ceramic coating, ARB roof rack, ARB traction boards, red recovery hooks, Rigid ditch lights, etc.

Don’t know the part. I just saw it as OEM on the Trailhunter and requested it as PIO on my Pro. It probably delayed delivery by a week, but I’d been waiting for about a year, so no big problem.
  17. MUDBATH Photos 4Runner 6th Gen (2025+)

Mudbath Pro, just back from PPF shop. Here's the rundown: 10 mil XPEL PPF Full front and fender flares 7-year ceramic coating Port-installed ARB ¾ roof rack Port installed OEM rock rails Cargo mat Cargo cover Toyota red front recovery points Rigid ditch lights on Wescott Designs low-profile...

  19. Dust issues in cab.

Maybe trying the recirculate air button would help. I did notice dust when I rode with the windows open, but not much otherwise.
