They rolled it down to the lower trims in 24, I almost bought one. They were rare AF.
I bet you're right about them carrying mudbath another year on the Pros like they did SO on the 22 and 23s.
Just went out and tested it a bit more. This is what mine does. Pretty much no bass at all from behind the front seats. The dedicated subwoofer is barely making a peep, much less a rumble. The rear doors and/or hatch speakers sound awful and I have to turn the volume up past 40-45 just to hear...
How much sound do you get when you fade all the sound to the rear? I have to turn the volume WAAAAY up to hear it much, and there's not much bass to speak of.
I did a quick check at lunch today. When I put the fader on fully to the rear, it's very quiet, but there's sound. The sub appears to be making noise, but it's really faint. That was with some cranked Post Malone.
I'll do more testing when I have more time...But...Considering there's a...
Mine is pretty new (under 1k miles still) and my first tank, the computer said 19ish mpg. That was pretty consistently over 75 almost all highway (driving it home). But I didn't top it off and I didn't know how to reset the trip meter, so likely not very accurate. My first accurate measurement...
It doesn't block it, but it's certainly in your face. If you remove the mirror cover, the overhead console, and drop the headliner down a bit (requires removing the sun visor posts), I think you can swap it to the passenger side, but I haven't verified that the wire is long enough. Pretty sure...
Agreed on all counts. If you're under about 5'8" or so, they may be useful...But if you're taller than that, they're an awkward height. But so are the regular steps. My factory OR steps are straight up in my way for entry/egress. I could step in easier without them, and they're far too high to...
I've set up several others of varying brands. Most of them are pretty bad, but Toyota's software/documentation is far and away the clear loser LOL. Viofo was the most painless so far. I have that in my Tunda and my wife's car. I'll likely pull the one from my Tundra and put it in my 4Runner. Or...
Circling back around to my own comment on this from months ago.
Yeah. I was wrong. Toyota's software for this dashcam is by FAR the worst I've experienced. It is absolute garbage. I was ready to throw it all in the trash last night when I tried to set it up.
Just noticed that it has the light up front emblem, extra pillar lights in the rear, and a Trailhunter diff skid. They really threw a parts catalog at it LOL
Also figured out that it's the Toyota branded Trailhunter roof rack. Wonder how much they sell for used.
Salesman does not know. Very, very rarely do they know more than the people on forums like this.
Toyota always puts out a press release with this info, and they haven't.
I've been checking their press page for months waiting on color/feature announcements...
Finally. Found a good deal on a hybrid OR Premium with the exact options I wanted, so I hopped on a plane yesterday and drove it six hours right back home.
It tripped and fell into a regional distributor box of parts, but I got a good enough deal that I'm not that mad about it. Roof rack will...
