I got rubbing, on the flaps only, even with the lift. Without the lift would have been the same. As I understand, rubbing has more to do with offset and tire dimensions than it has to do with lift...

First change was throwing on Westcott Preload Collar Kit (2.5" front, 0.75" rear) with CKAutoFab in Manitoba...
Generally, it helps to stay as close to stock parameters as possible to ensure the suspension, MPG, and handling/feedback all stay the same. You can certainly move to 18" from 20" by reaching a similar tire profile and wheel offset.
