I've had 2 flats on 2 different 4Runners with the junk Toyota puts on from the factory on dirt roads in 2WD so don't really agree. Those were Goodyears so may give these Michelin's a go but not very confident in an SL/C load tire.
I'm just going to run these Michelins unless they're just total crap. After finding out the wheel hubs are different now might just keep the stock TRD wheels as well unless I decide to lift down the road. I did find these wheel overlays to help with the TRD wheel look.
TRD Off Road 18" Wheel...
I wouldn't say that, in the Denver area dealers are selling Hybrids before they get here so they aren't discounting them. There are a few Non-Hybrids but I haven't seen any discounts there but since they have some you could get one I think. I got a discount on our incoming Hybrid as I've worked...
I'm hoping the 17" TRD Pro wheels on my 5th gen fit and look good so I can do exactly that. If they do I might think about the KO3's as well but the Mickey Thompson AT's are top of my list to try, the Bronco guys love them and have very good reviews.
Yes I did see the list but the sizes aren't that great, same 265/70 or a 285/65 which the same height just a little wider. I was hoping for a 275/70 or 285/70.
The sweet spot that I've found for our previous 4Runner's and Tacoma's is a D rated tire, they still have decent ride but don't have the SL issues of being too soft and puncturing. We currently are running 285/70/17 D range on our '22 Tacoma and 275/70/17 E range on our 4Runner both Toyo ATIII's...
TRDOR Hybrid, after looking at the pics it seems they'll be too much poke but the Heritage Blue one looks good. Might not be a month as my estimate delivery just jumped from 5/17 to 5/4, guess we'll see when it gets here.
Are those the Titanium centers? Looks like a good match with Underground! Brake clearance is still good obviously with a 17", not sure why Toyota went to an 18", no good D rated sizes in 18's.
I run 89/91 whichever I can get here in CO in my 2.7L TT Bronco and you can really feel the difference in power and better MPG. When we get our Max in a month I'll see if the same applies to the T4R but my guess is it will for sure. I will also be curious how 91 affects MPG's.
Wow that's ridiculous, I's be shopping out of state or at a different dealer for sure. The only thing my Dealer requires is $119 wheel locks witch I'd buy anyway; they're reasoning is wheels get stolen on the lot.
