Yea 33" spare tire is max spare tire size:
See this thread about it -- https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/largest-biggest-size-spare-tire-diameter-that-fits-33-inch-tire-33s.2003/
I think it's purely for improved fuel efficiency. Even 0.5-1 MPG improvement is significant, especially for engineers trying to eek out best fuel economy numbers possible. Plus, it's an easy and cost effective solution in terms of engineering solutions to gain some MPG, even if not by a lot...
Supersonic Red TRD Off-Road Premium looks gerat in this video. Softex seats look great to me.
And there's a look at the full size spare underneath the 4Runner.
So the conclusion is that your SR5 without factory tow package DOES NOT have the prewired wiring harness to install a trailer brake controller?
... based on the fact that it has that white connector, instead of black connector - did I understand that right?
The only time I've seen a reference to a 3/4 Length ARB Roof Rack is in the PPO options list of the TRD Pro:

Caught these before & after photos on social media of delivered 2025 4Runners with the air dam spoiler chin removed by their owners.
Looks much cleaner and sportier without it.
Looks like @Kokorone's SR5 has higher payload number and higher GVWR vehicle weight than @jerrycaparros TRD Sport, as one would expect.
Kokorone's 2025 SR5:

- GVWR: 6075 lbs
Jerrycaparros' 2025 TRD Sport:

Yay for MSRP deal and congrats! ? The high build quality is great to hear. It's a common thing that the press drive reviewers mentioned too. Wonder if it has to do with it being built in Japan.
Is this going to be your daily driver? Any other uses planned like recreational sports, camping...
Oh just thought 40-49 might be most common in this poll because its the age group that has enough income for a new 4Runner as well as more likely than the older age groups to come online to talk about it.
Let's get an age poll going. Always interesting to see the age demographic for a new gen vehicle. The 6th gen 2025 4runner isn't a cheap vehicle new so I'm guessing we're gonna skew a bit older at first.
You could pick up SR5 and build it up to be seriously off-road worthy? You'd get to enjoy the process too. There'll be no lack of 4R aftermarket products to suit your needs that's for sure :ROFLMAO:
