Me too, I don't like the radar CC constantly hitting the brakes. On a 2 lane hwy that's ok but 4 lanes and greater the people behind you don't know what is going on. I don't use the lane assist.
I've removed mine a month ago and put it the garage just for that reason. It's expensive because of the radar absorbing foam. Cops can't see you from behind LOL.
Has anyone figured out how to get rid of this forever, not just to toggle it off with right hand steering wheel control button. I do not like the DRCC, I know I'm not alone :). If you like it great, but I'm only asking how to disable it forever. 2025 T4R, TKS
What Sirius channel deal is that price. $10 per month generally is a good deal. Sirius/XM is very/super frustrating because at the end of the yearly contract, in your case 33 months, they begin charging you full price (north of $35 per month) you have to call them (yes on the phone) to...
There's no real max tongue weight limit. The manual just says the following about weight limits for the 4R (see image attachment). For you, the limiting factor will be GVWR which you can find on the yellow sticker on the drivers side door jamb, mine is 895# for ORP gas. Your trailer is easily...
I like the new 8 speed. No hard shifting up or down at all. I do not yet have any of the issues you describe. I can feel it downshifting but that happens smoothly IMO. I've have 2021 Explorer and 2019 F150 10 speeds which I also had no complaints about.
I've seen this device being discussed on other forums. It seems it is installed in 2 locations, in the engine bay directly to the battery like yours or piggybacked to the OBD2 connector next to the steering wheel by drivers left knee. Like others have said, it is installed at the dealer. It's...
I think the power on the 2.4l gas is sufficient. It could be a litte higher IMO. 325 would have been great. The turbo is well integrated and seems to pull well up to about 5000 rpm. I haven't gone higher than that as I'm still breaking in the engine. The 2.4 engine has the same hp/liter...
I agree with you that the reset procedure is unnecessarily complicated. Like you, I use Trip A to monitor fueling/mileage and reset each time I fill up. Trip B I almost never reset unless I'm on a long trip. Unfortunately I don't believe there is an easy way to reset.
I'm very happy with mine. It's way better (wider field of vision and brighter, doen't get washed out by sun light) than the 2021 Explorer I traded in last month.
