thats a great looking camper. Been thinking of getting one because I like camping but am kind of over the whole tent camping thing. I was disappointed to find that most campers in my budget of ~10k get some really bad reviews
good points. the parked vehicle was well to the right of the white line, but if I am remembering correctly it was on an area of the roadway that has a gentle curve so that could be it.
It was such a hard and fast deceleration that if anyone were following too closely or tailgating they very...
How old are you ?
If you are below 45 and not doing serious off roading I'd get the SR5 and call it a day. I consider that trim model to be the best value in an SUV that is capable of doing a lot of off-road traveling that non-rock crawling people will do and will also handle inclement weather...
platinum looks like it covers everything but I did not see the large display covered.
there is just so much tech in these vehicles im not willing to risk it...im keeping this vehicle for at least ten years
The place I am taking it to on Monday for a ceramic coating also does trim repair, hopefully they can re-grain mine and make the existing damage go away.,
Im still thinking about options for protection but I have these strips of some rubber like material that are adhesive backed..I may put some...
I have a chip on my hood and was going to have the ceramic coating guy touch it up.
I have both the dr. color chip and Toyota HB paints here (BX0) I think. I'll swab a bit of both on a sheet of white paper or gray paper if I have that later today and post pics here
I really wanted a landcruiser in HB with a white roof initially.
Lack of availability and price were a deterrent. Reading various things on the internet about the 4runner being a more capable off-road vehicle sealed the deal. I have no idea if that last comment is really true or not, but I...
it would require a lot of heat and light focused very intensely for that to happen. Not really buying that, but not saying it couldn't happen, but it would have to be very intensely focused sunlight reflected for a long period of time for that to happen.
OP's driveway also looks like it is...
I've never really been a fan of seat covers, but am thinking of adding them to my 6th gen as part of an overall strategy to prevent longterm wear and tear.
If anyone familiar with autoseatzone covers ? https://autoseatzone.com
they look nice, and the few YouTube videos ive found seem positive...
I am absolutely getting an extended warranty on my 6th gen TRD ORP.
There is so much tech in these vehicles that something is bound to fail after 36k miles.
I don't even blame or consider that to be Toyotas fault. Its just the nature of tech.
Twice yesterday during my commute home from work on a normal two lane highway I had the ACC engaged and set to provide the maximum distance between myself and the car in front of me.
I encountered two instances where a car was parked on the shoulder, well past the white line thats on the right...
Something isn't right here. How long have you had your vehicle ?
I live in eastern pa and I got my 4runner on August 7...Between than and now we've had week long periods of 100 dg/100% humidity days, and I park in direct sunlight ( no garage and I don't park under trees to avoid tree sap ). I...
lol....
yeah...thats my goal is make it last as long as possible. I've been trying to work from home or take a personal day once a week, that drops my work commute mileage down to about 1024 a month which I don't have that much of a problem with.
