Just the brake squeal. Otherwise 0. 14K miles on TH. Also remember that no vehicle is perfect, specially since everyone has different needs and standards.....
Similar : Penfed credit union 5.14% for 50K @ 60mo ( rest in cash). Yes dealer did not even waste time trying to get close. This was back in early May.
Good Point !
I just wonder if having both airways open might set off the MAF sensor or something along those lines ( too much air for ECU to compensate). I might be overthinking it...
I'll try to have both "plugs" (if one foam won't do both) in case of dusty trails too.
I'm about to pull the...
Nice write up, yes kinda covered in other threads, but nicely explained with pics here.
Thank you.
I'm looking at possibly doing the mod and leaving Trailhunter intake as is. Just having 2 different pieces of foam to switch between "music" (Trailhunter) and no music(TRD pro).
Just pop the...
Interesting, this morning I looked closer at that body seam and sure enough it looks like oil residue caked in. The truck is filthy from a long trip, so the Oil area has collected dirt.
I never had it leak as your initial picture.... since .It looks more like grease ....so the "manufacturing"...
FINALLY!!
I can't believed it took so long to get on exploded part description as such of the I-force! THX!
Looks beefy ( i know it' the Tundra/sequoia motor.)
That does seem too clear to be motor oil, even w/ 1000k miles or so. What a frustrating puzzle...Sorry this is happening to you. Keep us posted if you can.
A/C oil? at this point it would not be cooling anymore....
??? INTERESTING I can't believe I did not notice that one before. TH has it too here.
Good place to bolt a trinket?
Could it be for TNGA ones that have the KDSS ?
I never thought I would, but after a long squeeze w/ the financing guy ( I had the finance done elsewhere so he was eager to sell us something....) it made $$ sense to go w/ 10y-100K. For all the new tech like screens, etc, not so much for powertrain.
Advice for all : Remember, time is your...
As far as clunk from 4H to 2H it is "normal" see thread below :
https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/transmission-clunk-when-going-from-4h-to-2h.5814/
Subject 2 : In a part time 4wd as yours is, there is not a center diff. like a full time 4wd has (Platinum, Limited or LC250 per example)...
Hard to say : I come from a a 3rd gen so this thing feels super quiet to me in comparison.
When I did notice "what seems like wind noise from a cracked window" , it ended up being a blanket partially blocking battery air intake. It made a suction sound that I swore came from rear window behind...
To chime in here. Same thing happened the first few times, Neutral or not. It felt like a mule kicked the truck. Well I'm glad to hear I was not the only one with the 6th gen "clunk". I am used to Manual T case shifters and yes they can be quite clunky, but did not expect it that hard on the new...
I've been hovering 21.5 on the last 4 tanks at least. All mostly the same routine mix driving. I was sitting @ 22.4 on the last tank w/ 1/4 tank left, but had to do a "speedy" drive across town and it dropped to the usual 21.5.
TH here @ 10600 miles in ECO mode mostly.
Interesting. Yes I imagine the downside is to remove air filter to make the change, but it might be worth it for some family trips in cool weather.
The downside of just removing the plug is that your sucking hot air from engine bay. So adding the TRD elbow and tray PLUS the nerf ball might be...
