Curious to see if it's possible to "make" a plug for the inside for each one so it can be alternatively removed : wife aboard - no wife aboard scenario.
What I mean by that is that the TH setup remains the same so no red plug on the outside of the box. Just add the elbow and basket w/ clips from...
It is a viable option for sure. It should work since Taco & 4R are the same from B pillar forward. Below are the TACO forum links that covers this topic.

I haven't hear that at all, but was going to say it sounds like a solenoid trying to engage.
I have over 10K now.
Hopefully it's will be gone for good.
Keep us posted.
Mine has that too. Noticed it from day one. I checked the lot las time I was at the dealer and all had it too. Must be the way the rubber gets molded from supplier... You can see there is a joint between the flush and curved section.
Yeah I wash it on the slanted driveway (decent slope) and still get several drops of dirty water when I drive off the next day :ROFLMAO:. I suspect some stays on the roof maybe??
I would take the extra time to take small country roads when possible. You want the engine to work it's way trough the rpm range during break in ( not near redline of course). Sitting on the highway for long periods/ miles @ 1.8-2K is not ideal.
maybe break the trip into 4 sections.
1. back...
More room for my wife's nicknaks she brings on road trips! Or her phone! It slides off her lap, dash, door, etc... around the whole front of the vehicle when turning. 😍
I love that I ended up with Everest after all, but find myself thinking the same sometimes....
For OP: My gut would go with Underground. It's really nice in person and it's more unique than cutting edge.
Lovely! I totally agree on the window thing. At least rolled up haft way or something. I learned the hard way when it was 99% up and the door was frozen....
I made these temporary ones to see the results and so far so good. I haven't gone full gravel ride at speeds yet, but the occasional country road chip seal rock "ting" seems to be gone (the wheel is turned in a bit on the pic)
Good to hear. I think the issue w/ the plastic stock ones are that w/ the small factory lift they are not long enough. Event then as mentioned above those rocks might be curving like the matrix.
