Wonder if it has anything to do with a "Hicup" in the clutch plate system inside the electric motor.
My understanding of the I-force MAX operation is that the input shaft of EV unit (coming from engine crank) is not physically connected to output shaft going to Torque converter, transmission...
Yeah, no issues here for us. As good practice and maybe to sleep better at night do it sooner than later. I did mine @ 1.9K , then @ 6k , 11k and last one @ 16k. Will probably do the next one at 20K jsut to stay in the odd 5K intervals.
Enjoy the truck!
NOTE OF ADVICE : never run one of these through a carwash unless you want swirls everywhere.
After reading more of the comments it confirmed my theory. I implored the dealer to leave the truck as it came off the ship. "Are you sure? we only hand wash them" they said... I did not want to risk...
Yes, forgot to mention that. I did 4 wheels on the ground but had just enough space to remove skid plate ( 6 bolts) and do the rest, etc....with ease. I have a TH, so maybe the factory lift adds just a hair more space than a TRD OR.

- A tip for anyone doing this: there is a small plastic cover that needs to be removed that gets replaced by the " basket" assembly. To do so it will require removing and replacing 2 of the snap cap things. Just push on the middle of them to release and once out...
Classic Toyota : The only immediate change on the website is the wavemaker on TRD pro. The rest is pretty much the same as 2025.

Nice to see this! : Stabilizer Disconnect is now Optional on i-FORCE MAX TRD Off-Road Premium !
$1230 extra
I have 0 experience in the Tuning world. Interested to hear that Iforce MAX can come alive much more than it already does. I do know Toyota stays very conservative in "pushing the limits" of their engine / transmission setups.
Curious to know a few things :
- Is there only one type of tune...
Anyone out there have experience or knowledge on protecting seat stitching and piping? I'm quite careful getting in and out but eventually wear will happen. Hope there is something out there to help slow the process.
