You're wrong, they have a 12-volt battery, they have an alternator but they do not have a starter. I own a Trailhunter, it has no starter. The electric motor starts the vehicle. That's how hybrids work.
Yes, you can jump the 12-volt battery on the hybrid. That 12 volt battery on the hybrid is not used for anything other than the computers, it does not start the engine directly. The hybrids do not have a starter.
The Trailhunter like I have and the TRD Pro do have alternators, they assume you're going to put accessories like winches on them. The Trailhunter and pro lso has a 2400 w inverter for AC power and to run whatever high wattage appliance you want to take ,You could definitely plug an AC powered...
I would suggest you carry one of those small lithium jump packs. They work great even in cold weather, The battery in the hybrids aren't meant for starting the vehicle, only powering the accessories and computer. And in the event you ever run your battery down just attach that and everything...
Plug into the USBC port on the side of your infotainment center, press the volume button on the entertainment system to reboot. You should be connected after that. If not check the quality of your USBC cord.
I've had similar experiences with my pixel 10 Pro XL. What finally seemed to be the best option for me, I have a phone mount attached to the start switch so the phone magnetically sits right next to the display and I run a short USBC cable and leave it plugged in all the time. On the occasions...
With an overwhelming number of really great at tires out there it's hard to find the perfect one. The same review site recently mentioned the new Pirelli Scorpion XTM A\T that seem to click all the boxes for both on-road and off-road. Currently driving a Trailhunter 4Runner and the Toyo Open...
I went from a generation one 4Runner to the Trailhunter (with a 15-year gap)I can't complain about anything in the 6th gen because it's better in every single way. I know the back seats aren't perfect for some but compared to the first gen that had rear fixed seats that wouldn't move or fold...
There are plenty of cases that work very well with wireless charging. I use peak designs case and it definitely keeps up with the charge on my pixel 9 Pro, Even while using onyx off-road.
Plug your phone directly into the side usb port on the side of the screen display. It charges faster and Android auto also works better along with that Apple equivalent. There are also advantages to plugging it in that way, you can also use external Wi-Fi devices like starlink or the built-in...
Good information. I've only had two vehicles that I've driven over 100,000 miles, both Toyotas. A 1985 Toyota 4Runner that I drove for 21 years, a current 2006 Toyota Matrix about to hit 20 years old, and my current 2025 Trail Hunter. Amazing that he did all of that mileage in just one year...
I've had my 4Runner Trail Hunter for about 7 months now and was initially a bit disappointed in the fuel economy compared to actual ratings. I'm closing in on 5,000 miles, already changed the oil twice, once for break-in and one for the 5000 mile mark. For quite a while I was getting less than...
I just did my 5000 service as well, I made them change the oil because it's ridiculous to wait until 10,000 miles. If you tell them to do it they will do it, they just take it off of the free oil change total number.
Hilarious, my local paint shop definitely does a better job than OEM. Having restored many vehicles, My paint shop paint looks and lasts a lifetime unlike the OEM paints that Toyota is currently using.
