I am interested in the breaking point. Is it at the point the bracket is screwed in and maybe caused by over torquing the screw or was it the bracket failing due to stress?
I would definitely take to the dealer.
I was planning on keeping mine on. I am in the minority not doing off-road or...
Response from Carista. Their website and the app only list the 2024 5th gen as supported. Either they have not updated the list or they are feeding me a line!
Thank you for reaching out! Please attempt to reset the fault codes and inform us if they clear or if any remain. Your vehicle (2025...
So the term "play" you using for the small vent windows is the movement up/down/side to side in the frame and/or in and out when pressing on it. Based on that, I went looking for problems......
I checked both sides and found the small windows on each rear door to move in the frame. It does not...
When you say “play” do you mean movement, like the door is loose on the hinge? Or are you referring to a gap? I am happy to look once I understand.
@Hobbs3s:
Thanks for confirming you had the same, cleared them and no return. You would think that Toyota or the dealer would do that before they sell a new vehicle.
It would be nice to see a time and date stamp on all error codes. Oh well.
Stepping down from the ledge and will clear the...

Only got 95 miles on it so, self learning or self fixing is a possibility, I guess.
It would be great to find someone with carista and 2025 SR5 to run a diagnostic and compare.
This really leads to another question on if Carista is a viable product for the 4R6G yet. I purchased a year of functionality based solely on forum recommendations but I failed to check the supported vehicle list. I wonder if I can pause or get a refund on the years subscription.
I have emailed...
I am 5’6” and feel the same. It was a compromise. As stated in another thread, its tricky getting in and out.
I did look at the Sequoya but, the cost did not make sense in that segment.
3 days old, starts fine. 12.5 volts when sitting without engine running and accessory mode on. I will monitor. I usually connect any of my vehicles to a battery tender when not expexting to use for a few days.
I was at 17 miles until today. Now at a whopping 78 miles driving carefully to break-in the engine. I repurchased Carista knowing I may want to check codes, customize features, etc. I used it on another vehicle a few weeks ago and it's pretty slick. I previously had a tool for VW's that was way...
