The finance guy at the dealership I bought my TRD ORP from tried to sell me 10 yr / 125K for $4000. He went through a bunch of mumbo jumbo math showing how one electronic failure could easily cost the $4k. I said no and he immediately dropped it by $500 since he was such a good guy. I said no...
I had a similar issue with Waze. Its working now but honestly cant say why other than i think my phone was on mute. I googled toyota navigation no sound and just followed a bunch of recommendations regarding settings.
I tend to agree with you. For some makes, especially German cars, a VSA provides a healthy dose of comfort. The prices quoted in the other thread are not bad considering the coverage. You have until the 3 yr / 36K to decide, at which time you might have a good idea of how reliable the 6G is...
I live within a stone's throw of the Atlantic Ocean and was wondering if I should get my TRD ORP undercoated. Back story: I had a 2000 Tacoma with a rusted out frame bought back by Toyota and a 2009 Tacoma that had its frame replaced by Toyota (no charge to me). Perhaps those were isolated...
Curious to know what the anti-wobble is. On my previous truck I inserted the hitch rack then using the supplied allen wrench, tighten it (there is a ball inside the 1up) then inserted the lock through the holes. I understand the lock is not long enough but what else am I missing? thanks

I also have a 1-UP but havent yet tried it but assume I'll have the same issue
Ok maybe I'm missing something and yes I did read the manual. When using Nav and playing the radio (Sirius in this case) I can't hear the Nav give me direction commands, or maybe I can barely sorta hear something - coming from my Iphone? This is with both the Toyota Nav and Waze. What am I...
Thanks for all the replies. A full front is probably out of the question due to the cost (around $2400) and convincing my wife ;)
I tend to keep my cars a long time (10+ years) if they are reliable. The front of the 4R is pretty blunt so that is why I was thinking doing the bumper section but...
If I hadnt seen this thread I probably would not have noticed it. seems as though all the front bumper parts (e.g. plastic) are slightly off white. none of my family has noticed and I wont tell them. But now I cant unsee it.
My first 4Runner and love it! Been reading about Toyota paint issues, specifically the white, and wondering what people are doing wrt PPF treatments. I've never had a car/truck done before but then again I have never paid this much for truck lol. I was thinking of having the front bumper section...
Curious to know if anyone is getting PPF for their 4R? I'm considering doing the front bumper area. Got a quote of $650 for XPEL Plus at Kickin Kustoms in Raynham. I've read that Toyota paint is soft
