Regarding MPG, I use the Fuelly App and it shows 21.2 MPG ave for the past 1800+ miles. 30/70 city/highway.

It really is annoying (first world problem I guess). If it didnt cover up the outside temp for about 15 seconds I wouldnt have even thought about it.

I have no complaints with the gas 4cyl, I think its a pretty amazing engine. I dont notice the noise at all, or at least it doesnt bother me. For me, in looking at all the various trims, the ORP was the trim level.

Probably a dumb question but I understand that you have to unbolt/move the TRD skid plate to get access to the oil filter. Do dealers charge more because of that extra step? I have no plans to change my own oil.

I looked at the new Passport before buying my ORP. Dollar wise the Honda is a better deal. I prefer the more aggressive looks of the 4R. The Honda interior is very nice but I hated the dash (I prefer round dials even if they are digitally formed), hate the push button shifter (why Honda why?)...

I have the gas only 4 cyl and think its totally fine. I'm coming from a V6 Honda Ridgeline and the Toyota 4 banger is infinitely better.

In addition to the tire pressure (make sure they set all 5 tires, i just took a nail in one of my tires and the spare had 55 psi) also make sure they do the seat procedure so that the memory seats work correctly.
