Has anyone tried installing 3rd row seats for Gas model TRD sports/off-road 4runner?
I've been looking for 3rd row seat parts but no luck so far :/

My opinion: Those third row seats should not be called seats. Feel free to disagree.

I think the better route would be to get an SR5 and upgrade the car.

I have an SR5 with a third row, and the kids love sitting back there. I use it once a week or so. I also prefer the flatter floor.

My sr5 3rd row seats for me is very helpful, i can transport more people, but the rule is, the person must be under 5'7" leg room is good just the head room is tight

Sorry this doesn't directly address your question. But beware.
I have 3rd row because that is the only way I could get a unit a few months ago. I figured to just ignore it.
What I didn't know is in order to cram in a 3rd row they short sheeted the second row leg room by 5 or 6 inches.
It is terrible back there. I cannot imagine sitting in the second row for more than an hour if that.
Another potential, and more serious outcome, would be a rear end collision with the 3rd row occupied.
If you haven't checked one out you should
before getting the torch out.
In fact I have been trying to find a way to toss mine in the dumpster and move the 2nd row back.
I don't think that is going to happen though.
Good luck.

🤯 they really moved the second row up to fit the third?

Yes. In addition the second row is not adjustable forward or back. Fixed in place.
With me at an average 5-10 the drivers seat back is 7 inches from the second row seat- not much leg room.
I believe the two row configuration gives you an additional 5 to 6 inches.
Crappy unless you know that going in and the fam is young.
