I picked up my TRD Off-Road Premium about a week and a half ago, and literally the same day, I dropped it off to get the IGNA anti-theft system installed. Took about 4 hours, super smooth process. So far, I’m really happy with the added peace of mind. Toyota includes the 3-year Safety Connect, which is nice, but honestly, having that extra layer of protection feels like a must, especially here in The Greater Toronto Area where car theft is kind of out of control. I’m not going to get into how things are in Toronto these days (that’s a whole rabbit hole and probably a political debate waiting to happen), but yeah… better safe than sorry. If anything ever happens to the car, I’ll definitely share the experience and let you all know how IGNA holds up.?
Next up was the Xpel Stealth PPF wrap and I have to say, I had an awesome experience with AMP Motorsport. From start to finish, the team was professional, transparent, and easy to work with. They took great care of my vehicle. I went with the full Xpel Stealth PPF and front window tinting, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The finish looks incredible clean, smooth, and exactly what I was hoping for. These guys really know what they’re doing. If you’re in the GTA for quality paint protection or tinting, I highly recommend checking out AMP Motorsport. Solid service, fair pricing, and excellent craftsmanship all around.
I've started looking into aftermarket parts, but it seems like most suppliers are based in the U.S. If any fellow Canadians know of places to order parts with minimal shipping or import fees, please share ? ! It's been pretty challenging trying to find good options locally without getting hit with high logistics costs.
