Carista app/dongle in North county SD?

Anyone with the Carista app and dongle in the North county SD area? I'd like to load a few settings on to my truck but am hesitant to purchase myself with the 50$ plan per year plus 60$ dongle that I think I'd only use once.

Out of curiosity, I am installing a OEM TRD Pro Grill on my TRD Off Road that will move the front camera up 18”. Rave Off Road said that you need to go into the dealership to change the camera profile of the vehicle to a TRD Pro. Would I be able to do that myself with the Carista dongle and the monthly payment on the app?

No, I think you would still need to go to the dealer to have them do that.

The dongle I have for my wife's car ended up being compatible with carista so I got a 1 month subscription to load what I wanted and there are no options like that on there.

I am still baffled why I can enable to have my windows rolled down with my key fob but not back up ?‍?

Probably to prevent fingers or a dog nose from getting pinched.

The Carista is the best inexpensive tool you can have so investing in one makes sense. Even if you think you’ll only use it once, like I thought, you’ll end up using it multiple times over its lifetime. You can use it on almost any car. I’ve had mine since 2017 and have used it over various vehicles since then. Definitely worth it for you and for friends.

I just got my Carista and noticed the same thing. The window down thing will still be nice.
