Does the vibration cause fingers to tingle? Like a high speed dremil tool?
No I got the problem taken care of. I found a tire guy with the best balance machine available and he got the tires right

We have the same set up. Looks great but we can't figure out what is causing the vibration/ shake at highway speed. Starting around 60/65 it begins to have a slight shake and gets worse as speed increases. We already replaced both upper control arms on the RC 3.5 lift and also found that the tires didn't road force test and they replaced all 4 nitto tires. 4Runner only has 400 miles on it and I have no idea what else to check. It's not bad tires/ balance and its not the control arms. It's my wife's car and she is so frustrated that she's beginning to hate this thing. Starting to regret the lift and will probably return to stock if we can't figure this out.

I have the same 3.5” Rough Country lift. Had the intial shop check over all, they even put a employee’s wheels and tires on my 4runner! Still had that vibration. It felt like a dremil tool . The differential drop had a washer that coned out,the rubber or bushing is weak I believe .. The shop guys were really puzzled. I went to another shop and had it checked as well. That company said it was ok, but still had the vibration.Take off that “skid plate” and you can see what I saw…. After a thosand miles the vibration has got much less, hardly notice now. I still want to get a different type of isolator on that diff drop. Some people suggest the diff drop is not needed and will destroy your diff, from lack of lubrication….Here are my pics.

installed the 3.5 rough country lift and had noticed a wheel bearing/tire road noise only post install.

I installed the same lift and also noticed a wheel bearing/tire road noise (stocktires)after, that is variable with road speed. Noticeable to me but probably not to most. That isolator bolt below the pinion can be easly over tightened reducing the amount of noise/vibration it absorbs. Which from the looks of the washer, is over tightened.
Not sure how the diff can have lack of lubrication from a diff drop?

That cupped washer is under the diff drop where the front differential is mounted I beleive. In my photos I show the top side as well, thats a picture from under the car with the fiberglass/plastic guard removed. The washer was replaced and and re-torqued to spec. This did not solve the vibration however. The drop dif issue is do to the angle and the lubrication is compromised I was told.(read this) just another opinion of one… I now have over One Thousand miles and it seems the vibration is settling… my fingers no longer tingle as long, or Iam getting accustomed to the vibration. How about you?

Looks great man I have the same SR5 tire size and color but went with the Readylift 2.5 front 1 in back and the handling is great but we are having trouble dialing in those wheels and tires on the balance machine. We get a noticeable vibration at 75+
How about you?

I havent had much of a vibration. Just mostly what seems like a bearing noise of which i know it is not. The front drive shaft doesn't spin while in 2wd so its gotta be with the front diff to axles. Really minor but being a tech for a while i tune in a little more than others.

I m running 20x9 0offset with 285/55r20. Nitto terra grapplers.

Thats what I also thought, the vibration was from. Mine has subsided quite a bit, my fingers are no longer going numb. After 1,000 miles in the city its gotten hardly noticeable. Thanks for your input.
