Ok, I updated and corrected the description for how you determine what real VIN replaced a temporary VIN. See the readme.txt file for this. A bit more involved due to having to sort several columns at first which is what was missing before.

Dealer called me yesterday afternoon and let me know it has arrived on the lot. My salesperson is off today, so tomorrow it is.

In my case, the ETA kept getting shifted forward, not back...almost a month earlier than initially projected!

I'm new to this forum but I wanted to say whoever setup the Excel spreadsheet just saved me a lot of money. I found my 4Runner and the PIO options on it and sent that to the Sales Manager at my dealership and he deleted all the extra nonsense Gulf States was adding to my truck. So thank you very much.

My SR5 should be coming in any day now, from earlier this week to the eond of the month.
Did my morning ritual of checking the status change spreadsheet and the estimated date has now changed to nan/blank. Still Port to Dealer as the shipping status.

Dunno what to make of this. Hoping that I get a call from the dealer once the shop opens to hear that it's been delivered but we'll see...

Just an update for record-keeping purposes and anybody who cares (probably nobody)

Picked up my SR5 yesterday afternoon! I'm coming from a Honda Accord and with my first ride in this vehicle (not counting a test drive of a random lot car), I was expecting to really be hit in the face with a more truck-ish ride (i.e. not smooth, less responsive, and loud) and it wasn't bad at all! Maybe I'll write more about it in another post once the inital excitement wears off a bit, but first impressions were quite positive.

For the spreadsheet nerds - I noticed that earlier this week, my vehicle had been removed from the 4runner.csv spreadsheet. It got moved over to the SOLD file, even though (1) it hasn't yet been sold and (2) the "Pre Sold" column continues to state "FALSE."

And finally, I'd like to thank Costco Auto Program for getting me a great discount (~7%) without all the BS haggling. I was working with a salesman from another dealer going about the traditional route and it was the biggest pain imaginable...then I remembered about the Costco program and gave it a go, and I'm very happy that I did!

For the spreadsheet nerds - I noticed that earlier this week, my vehicle had been removed from the 4runner.csv spreadsheet. It got moved over to the SOLD file, even though (1) it hasn't yet been sold and (2) the "Pre Sold" column continues to state "FALSE."

See the readme.txt file on the google drive for an explanation of this. An excerpt from that file follows:

"The inventory is obtained from the same place the Toyota Inventory search website (https://www.toyota.com/search-inventory/)
gets its data from (which is https://api.search-inventory.toyota.com/graphql ). The folder also contains the sold inventory
(defined as inventory that appeared at one time in a run, but no longer appears in the inventory obtained from the website),

The sold inventory files are for VINs that no longer appear in the current inventory (were seen at one time
by the inventory run but have since disappeared).
These files are named <model>_<year>_Sold.csv with the associated raw parquet in <model>_<year>_Sold_raw.parquet
Also note that currently if a temp VIN is turned into a real VIN, and thus the temp VIN disappears,
the temp VIN is treated as Sold, because it disappeared from current inventory, and is placed in the associated Sold file.
This currently allows temp VINs to still be seen for a period of time and a user to
know when it was turned into a real VIN by the infoDateTime field (not necessarily what the real VIN is).
A user can determine the real VIN that has replaced a temp VIN by using the Change History file (see below).
Once a temp VIN in the sold file is older than 16 weeks it is assumed it has been replaced with a real VIN
and/or the user no longer needs use of the temp VIN, and it is removed from the sold files. This period of
time also allows some statistics to be run on the day of the month allocations appear.
Older model year sold files will be archived at some point, when it appears there is no longer any inventory of that year left.

Note that the contents of the VIN entries in the sold inventory files do not update after being placed in that file because there is no data
to update them with from the Toyota search inventory website anymore. I.E, the website no longer returns that VIN and contents for it,
and that is the only website that the vehicle information is obtained from by the program."

Also a dealer will sometimes have the vehicle removed from the Toyota inventory website search results if they consider it to be sold for all practical purposes and or don't want to get calls about it from other potential buyers. Some dealers do not use the PreSold field.
