Remember, there are ~2 gallons left when you hit zero on the DTE meter (and it changes to "REFUEL NOW"). So, roughly: 285 miles/17 gallons=16.8 MPG.
Yes this is low - but in the range that many folks are reporting. (I'm under 18 MPG (adjusted for size) with my winter/off-road 285/70 E-load...
Hmm... are we talking about the same thing? For me (TRD ORP - no folding mirrors) the driver's door unlocks instantly, but to get the rest of the doors unlocked you must hold the handle for the defined delay (I have mine set on minimum time (1.5 sec) - required a trip to the dealer (or...
Changed my oil last week and it really is super easy - as others have noted. But I was not sure about the right order of things (e.g., new filter before or after draining - turns out before is the answer which was not intuitive to me).
There are MANY videos and other instructions out there...
Not sure why the Toyota web site is incorrectly listing all the 2026 trims at the same ground clearance. They clearly are different based on the different suspension components and geometry. (Even though I do not understand the details and want to (Practical difference between 6G4R...
Cool. Better than my best which I thought was decent. You could easily go 450 miles on a tank with that and still have a bit left (assuming ~25 mpgs with that number).
From message above this in thread - there is not really any ambiguity here:
"Check out this thread: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/thr...gas-indicator-accurate.2652/page-2#post-65870
And note that the owners manual specifies that the "Low fuel level warning light ... Indicates that remaining...
Interesting. My data below is based on recording (photo) the DTE before and after fill up over the last 27 fillups and almost 9K miles. When running with air dam and OEM TRD ORP tires I've seen the DTE value after fillup as high as 366 when tank milage was 24.4; with air dam off and 285/70R18...
Am curious what you plan to use it for beyond blowing up inflatables (which I think it looks perfect for). Thanks in advance for ideas on how I can use my new toy.
Honestly, the plastic/composite skids that came with your ORP are more than sufficient (IMHO) for green trails. I've been on 5 different onX rated green trails -all rated 3 (and 1 blue that should have been green) and none of them came close to having rocks not easily avoided that would hit the...
Well, it knows because of the sensor in the fuel tank that provides the information for the digital fuel gauge on the dash. But this does not explain having such a low DTE after your 100 miles at 24MPG. I thought for sure I had figured out the issue but .... now I'm stumped.
Just curious if that 232 was before you put the car in gear. Its about what I would expect to be the DTE after 100 miles on the highway. Once you put the car in gear that number would jump up to reflect the new DTE (330 ish). Even though the fuel gage reads full, the DTE does not adjust until...
Turns out that SpiderTrax makes a hub centric adapter that works perfectly to put 6G4R wheels on 5G4R: SpiderTrax Toyota/Lexus 6 on 5-1/2" (M12) to 6 on 5-1/2" (M14) Blue Wheel Adaptor. This is how I did exactly that to put my TRD ORP wheels my son's 5G4R. The adapter almost but not quite...
Hi All: I was lucky enough to win a recent Wolfbox #BornForMud contest (Show us your dirtiest post trail battle scars ). That's my TRD ORP on the splash page.
I've been impressed with the stuff that Wolfbox has sent me - including the subject items that were my reward for having the most...
