    My 25 SR5 doesn’t (yet) have any interior noises, thankfully. The suspension is noisy when its cold. I suspect its iced up and makes a growl on speed bumps on cold mornings

    Can someone briefly explain how the active grill shutters work? It would be real cool (pun) if they closed whilst the engine is desperately trying to warm up at -46° this morning. Can they be programmed?

    Looking to buy step bars for my stock 2025 SR5. Many websites to choose from but haven’t found one that offers “reasonable” shipping. Does anyone know of a vendor that offers “free” shipping to Alaska. Most offer free shipping until you read the fine print, or they ship 2nd Day Air for $300 or more.

    I can confirm that in Fairbanks Alaska it has been -40° F for several nights, and my winterization package has been flawless. I have small heating pads siliconed to the oil pans. 1 each on engine oil, and transmission. Probably 100w each. One battery heat pad which is probably 75w. I plan to add...

  11. What'd you drive before your 6th Gen 4Runner?

    2017 Silverado LT Crewcab 4x4. Engine left the chat with lifter failure. Probably should have sued because of the “known” issues but was almost happy to have a reason to get the 4Runner.

    I only wish I had Auto 4x4, and heated seats. Didn’t think upgrading was worth it.

    It’s been-30 to -40 here in Fairbanks Ak for a couple weeks and yes, the bushings are groaning, brakes are squealing and axles are grinding. It'll stop when it warms up. Hopefully.
