The rear light has a bracket that can disconnect from the OEM light by undoing the plastic clips. Once removed, you can put the Meso hatch light on it and clip it back up on your headliner.
No drilling required on the rear as well.
Not OP, but I got PPF on high impact areas and ceramic coating for $2K on my SR5.
OPs job is likely more expensive (guessing around $3k ish) considering they got the ceramic tint done at the same time as well.
I’ve got a 2025 SR5 4WD, and honestly, the stock all weather mats just aren’t cutting it. They curl, have some exposed areas, and they definitely weren’t designed for the way I use my truck.
I’m in Vegas, so my 4Runner sees a little bit of everything — snow trips up to Mt. Charleston, dusty...
I highly recommend using a plastic pry tool to make your life easier. You can find some on Amazon for like $5. I also pulled down where the blue clippings are in this post linked below.
To disconnect the wiring harness, there is a small clip you need to push down to wiggle out the connection...
Thank you. I was able to install them today. I used a plastic pry tool to get the head unit console out. Ran into some issues with disconnecting the wires but was able to get it out with some patience and time
I just use a flathead screwdriver to push up the hatch which signals that the trunk is closed. This turns off the cargo/tailgate lights. Before closing the trunk, just make sure to 'unlock' the hatch again by pressing the trunk release button above your license plate.
This looks like it. I just changed my oil yesterday so remember where the filter and drain plug location is. I do think oil would drip onto the skid plate though from the looks of it since the holes arent too big
Has anyone installed an after-market skid plate that fit OEM drill holes/mount points? Or would you recommend just buying the OEM TRD skid plate? Thank you.
Slightly slower acceleration after upgrading my tires (275/70/17), but not too noticeable overall. My speedometer is off by about ~2mph when on the freeway
