2026 TRD Sport.

- Installed hood struts.
- Installed red tow hooks.
- Installed OEM Land Cruiser skid plate.
- Installed Magsafe phone mount.

New to the forum. Is there an advantage of the Land Cruise skid plate compared to the TRD Pro skid plate?

Yes, the biggest one is THIRD the cost lol. I paid $282 directly from Toyota Parts' website (Xmas sale + free shipping). TRD Pro plate is $600+!! It's only 1-2 lb heavier than TRD Pro one, Steel vs aluminum; which i didn't really mind at all. It felt much sturdy and strong. Didn't care for the extra "red" letters...Further, it came with hardware bolts for installation. If you get the TRD Pro skid plates, you'd have to buy additional bolts as well.

No, they do not have door for oil change. You have to remove the plates every time. Easy with power tool. There are 2 bolts to hang the plates as well.

Thanks BonRunner. I've seen some after market skid plates with removable panels to access the oil drain plug and filter. However, it appears to be a tight squeeze and may be just easier to drop the skid plate.

I just received mine today. I'll be doing that when the rain subsides this weekend along with my OEM TRD Pro Heritage upper and lower grill. Also bought the Rigid fog

Got a couple of tactical molle dump pouches for oversized water bottles. Installed on front doors and they clear the speakers.

The molle dump bag is the perfect solution! I've been wanting something to go over the purse hook on the passenger side that can function as a receptacle for small trash when driving. Thanks for the idea!
