We took the badges off our truck, but only the ones that wouldn’t leave a recess or something where the badge used to be. So that amounted to removing the TRD PRO badge from both sides of the hood and the iForce Max from the rear hatch.

For those interested, we’ve also put up the Prinsu Pro roof rack and ladder. We’ll add some cargo boxes and light bar later this year. Last, we have some Molle panels coming tomorrow for the rear cargo area. We have a puppy coming in a few weeks that needs a mobile kennel. 😁

Looks super clean and mean! Any photos from further back showing the whole truck now?

what procedure did you find best for removing the hood badges? head them up and pull them off? fishing line or something similar? i'm assuming they are just on there with some high strength double sided adhesive.

I have a plastic drywall knife that did the trick pretty well. Just pushed it under whatever little gap I could find until the badge lifted enough to grab by hand. Then, it just pulled off. No heat required. Yes, it’s just some kind of double sided sticker stuff.

This left some of the sticker material still on the hood, which mostly rolled off with my fingers and then a little goo gone to finish up. It probably only took 10 minutes.

I did this years ago on my Ram as well, but it had seen 5 years of Arizona heat and was significantly more difficult. One of the badges even took a little paint off with it. I have to assume the age and AZ heat cycles are what made it so much more difficult than the 4Runner. So if you’re planning to do it, don’t wait!

appreciate the heads up here. also used a small plastic knife and was surprised at how easy they came off with very little residue left on the paint. Little warm water and a microfiber cloth down and everything looks flawless. Thanks for reminding me I meant to do this like 3 months ago!

We just received the pet divider molle panels from Victory 4x4 this afternoon. The side window panels should be here tomorrow, so maybe those will go in this weekend and much of the dog kennel will be ready for the new puppy coming next month 🐶. I'll get some photos up of that once complete. I can already see I'm going to need some different hardware. A bunch of it came zinc plated rather than black and that'll just screw with my head. lol

Are those the original tail lights and wheel fenders that came from the factory? Looks great. I’d love to swap out my tail lights for the same ones on yours.

Sure are. Aside from the roof rack, badge removal, and the window sticker things we haven't really done much with it yet.

Which cargo boxes are you looking at?
We haven't settled on a particular one yet, but something like a pair of the Roam 95L or similar. I do like that I can get molle panel inserts for the inside of the lids for the Roam boxes. I don't want a bunch of crap bristling off the sides of the roof rack and I can strap a shovel, axe, whatever else inside the box and keep things organized and secured in place. Others might have similar possibilities but I haven't done a ton of searching on this yet.
