On X off road app

I’m thinking off subscribing to On X app for trails. I have an iPhone.
Can the app be portrayed on the screen through Apple Car Play?

Garmin has a good way to download good off line maps as well if you use their inreach. Not sure if they have a car play app. I just have detailed downloaded maps on my iPad.

I,be been looking at trailsoffroad also. I will probably do a trial on both. I’m n north eastern AZ. Tons of forest roads.

I went with OnX only issue I have is if you select a trail and want directions it wants to do it where you are currently, for planning I'd like to give it where I will be on June 7th for example so I can plan that route and download the offline maps. instead it seems I have to click on each dirt road individually and download that portion of it.

Okay, good to know. At this point, I just want to navigate the numerous forest roads. The planned trips will come as I get familiar with the app…
