Uwharrie OHV area in central NC is a very popular trail system, with day passes available for $5 or annual passes available for $30. I had the annual pass for my motorcycle, and decided to take the truck and just see how it was

I have a totally stock ORP Hybrid, which I even went out of the way to put the air dam back on before hitting the trail. I have disconnected the front sway bar in the past, and I usually drive around w no air dam, but I went for as stock as possible to just see how well it did. I have the Michelin LTX Trail tires at 33psi, and no issues. I had a decent amount of tools and gear in the back, including my freezer and EcoFlow, so it was pretty loaded up

Overall, the truck was wonderful. Very little side slip in one or two places, no traction issues on the trail. I specifically waited till it hadn't rained for 10 days before I went, because the park is all clay. I scraped frame rails in one or two places, touched the side steps once or twice, and scraped the crossmember the hybrid has in one place. I think a collar lift would have gotten me over anything on these trails with no issues, but without them it still did just fine

If there are any other Carolinians that want to go, I'm always up for it

Rocky Mountain
5/10 on OnX, but honestly other than one or two obstacles, it was pretty easy (it is rated as an easy trail by the park system.) This is the first obstacle as soon as you turn off the service road

Slab Pile
3/10 on OnX, this was overall very rocky compared to everything else, with a long rocky climb. We watched a dude on a 4-wheeler mess it up and flip backwards down the hill. He refused help and said he was fine, but we came across him later with his quad unable to run. I had the freezer in the back, so we could at least give him some cold gatorade. Some Jeeps towed him out, which was nice.

Here is the dude at the clearing at the top of the climb, pretty indicative terrain of the trail, too

Wolf Den
4/10 on OnX, but I would say this was the easiest trail of the day. This was basically just a lot clay humps with a few narrow ruts and large rocks. I just went slow and kept a conservative line. The trail was kind of busy, so there was also a lot of pulling over. Unfortunately this was the only pic I got of my truck, someone was at the trailhead taking pics of ppl coming off the trail
