Damn. I havent even been on FB in years and never even used Marketplace, but damn if I wont start now šŸ˜…
I just saw a Roam 86L by me for $250. That’s $100 off. You could probably get it for $200. It’s worth running searches on it for Roam a few times a week.

Thule XL. Ordered from Subaru for my Outback Wilderness. I’d like some proper boxes, but this fits a lot and is very convenient to put on/take off.
Think it migh be larger than what I want since it takes up so much space, but will look at it to have all my options sorted.

More importantly, where is that? Thats an amazing view. Damn.

I went with 2 rifle cases from Harbor Freight.

I need to get to a HF and look at these.
Did you take the foam out or cut it to fit what you are putting in there? The listed height is one of my concerns and Im worried about it limiting what it can store.

How did you secure it to the rack? Drill holes and put some T nuts/bolt through it to anchor them?

Yeah, removed all the foam, and used 4 hex head bolts and nyloc nuts to secure to the rack. The dometic Frontrunner rack holds the hex head bolts from the underside. I use one case for recovery gear and the second case for camping gear as needed. I also have a platform from Greenlane Offroad which provides more storage.

Nice! You happen to know the internal height with the foam removed? Id love to keep my M18 inflator up there if its tall enough.

I measured ~5 1/2 inches for the base and lid.
Thanks! That wont let the M18 inflator fit, but damn if I couldnt get most of the rest of the stuff I wanted in there to fit.
