Not a Toyota vehicle, but my prior ride was a 2017 Nissan Armada. I took it to a local Nissan dealership for work and told them I was going to put a lift on it. They begged me to bring it back to do the work, claiming they had a guy who "knew" Pro4x off-road racing vehicles. After the job was done, literally driving it home, I got error codes, and the truck would go into limp mode. Took it back to them, and they claimed 'it was the lift" that caused the problem, even though I knew other people who had the same lift installed and ran up to 37" tires and had no zero problems. They told me the transmission couldn't handle the weight of the new tires/wheels (I had 35"s with Black Rhino Armory wheels). The lift kit designer told me they must have messed something up; he was reputable and used to design the black label lift kits for the Titans Pro4X (Calmini). I eventually had to get rid of it because no one could figure out what happened.Anyone in here have any warranty work denied due to mods? Might be a dumb question but valid to askthe local dealership here has claimed to have cracked down on honoring warranty work due to mods. I brought up Magnusson-Moss act to the general manager and he said it doesn't matter. Just wanna hear some good or bad stories from you guys/girls
