VIOFO A329 Parking Mode w/ Dongar Pro

I’ve read that the parking mode enablement on the VIOFO A329 is only on with a hard wire install. It is said that parking mode doesn’t work with Dongar Pro adapter. Even with the timed setting on the Dongar.
Anyone have a work around or intel on this?

Ugh… did you bother hardwiring or did you opt to not use parking mode?

I just bought the Dongar Pro so parking mode would work. I haven’t installed it yet. Did you hook up to the ceiling connector or review mirror? @Dongar

I actually opted to do a Wolfbox G900 TriPro 3 Camera setup instead and hardwired it.

I had emailed Dongar about my Viofo and they said Viofo wasn't compatable without their module. Not sure if it would interfer with the Dongar module in tandem or not but that's alot of wires and modules in a small space.

Hopefully Dongar can chime in.

Thank you, be tagged @Dongar in a bunch of posts with no response… I think I’m gonna retune my Dongar Pro and just go the hard wire route unfortunately

Review mirror. Parking mode doesn’t work with Dongar, only works by hard wiring.

It does stay running with the Dongar Pro and the key off but it doesn't have the parking functions, just constant recording.
