I have the same issue. Everytime I start the vehicle, I have to confirm "yes" or "no" if a trailer is attached. I have never hooked up a traiiler or a bike rack. Have taken this into the dealer 3 times for this issue. They have been unable to fix it. Said they would report the option to Toyota. I showed them the TSB for the Tacoma. But they said it was not for this vehicle. Maybe if enought of us report this, Toyota will finally own up to the issue and issue a TSB to fix it. Very annoying to have to disable this every time as it blocks the instrument panel status until cleared.
