This is fantastic info. Appreciate taking the time to share this
You are welcome. Tire preferences are so subjective and also influenced by what your primary use is… on road? Off road? So I find it a little overwhelming. That’s why I listen to those who appear to know a lot more about the topic than I do!

Here’s that “Topher” video from YouTube. It is from 2024, so maybe a little old, but he really raves about them.

well when i researching tires (cause the crap grandtrek pt5a were worse than the tire it replaced "grandtrek at20")

i looked in the a/t ascent and ltx ms2.

better looking than the ltx ms2 but the ascent is more highway than a/t. more like 60% highway and 40% off road.

ltx ms2 is like 80-90% highway and 10-20% off road ability (yes you can in a pinch but dont bet on it long term)

the ascent is a decent over all highway off road tire but nothing compared to true off road tires that are around 20%-40% highway and rest off road

from what i can tell they are really good if you need more on road than off road.

i personally need tires for 95%+ on road
