Trailer settings not being saved

A few weeks ago, I decided to dig out my Karavan 12-foot flat bed trailer to try out the trailer features on my Trailhunter. I played with the backup assist which was pretty cool once I got it calibrated properly.

But I just tried hooking up the trailer again this week and it forgot everything I did before. Is there some trick to saving the settings? In the same vein, when you select Rename Trailer, it doesn't actually allow you to change it from My Trailer to something more meaningful. Instead, selecting that item in the menu sends you to the trailer list to pick a different trailer.

I just confirmed my earlier post. I hooked up my trailer and drove to a parking lot to run the backup assist calibration. That all went fine. But it forgot all of that once I shut off the vehicle even though the trailer was still connected. I wish there was a way to submit bug reports.
