Hey Guys -
I have a new TRD Sport and I've purchased a set of rims/tires off a new Limited. My question is when I install them on my vehicle, is there anything special I need to do to "re-calibrate" the TPMS sensors, or will they do it automatically? The Limited rims already have the TPMS sensors in them from the person that sold them to me, and I hate to try to move mine over unless it becomes a hassle. Thanks in advance!

just follow the directions in the owners manual, its spelled out in detail about swapping between sets or adding a new set

4runner can learn two sets of sensors
after that new ones might need to be programmed by hand

section 6-3 of manual do it yourself maintenance
look for keyword TPWS (not tpms)
-----
how it works

when you initiate Registering ID codes (in manual)
it forgets what it knows, and listens for new sensor codes that
belong to the vehicle. you go drive around and when the
system decides the sensors it is detecting up must belong to
this vehicle based on proximity, it will store the codes and
positions. it may happen in under a minute, it may happen
in 30 minutes

the manual goes into more detail
