Sunscreen, any tricks to remove residue?

Got some reside from zinc based sunscreen on plastics on door and I have been trying all kinds of stuff to get the white cast off the plastic. So far google has not been much help. Anyone here got any tricks?

Try Dawn Ultra and water and a stiff bristle brush (takes some scrubbing to break it down). It works on my wife's car.

I got some on the seat, found the best way was to use a dry microfiber towel. It worked way better then using any type of product. It still takes some elbow grease to get it off. Hope this helps.

To tackle that stubborn zinc sunscreen from car plastics, your best bet is an oil-dissolving cleaner paired with mechanical agitation. Zinc is notoriously tough because it’s a mineral-based oil blocker.
