There's plenty of ways to add light behind your 4Runner, but the new Stage Series Reverse Light Kit stands out with innovations in both function and ease of use.
This kit includes an integrated red running light, and plug-and-play wiring harness for trouble-free installation! Thanks to Stage Series TIR optic technology, this kit provides a huge amount of extra reverse light.
Plug and Play. Thanks to the 7-pin connectors, this kit is completely plug-and-play. The included trailer harness plugs right into your factory trailer 7-pin connector for easy installation and operation.
Brighter Backup. Factory reverse bulbs just don't provide enough light output to back up at night confidently. By pairing our patented TIR optics with high-powered LEDs, the LED pods included in this kit provide an additional reverse light that's several times brighter than stock bulbs alone. Plus, they automatically come on when the vehicle is put in reverse!
Backlight Functionality. The Stage Series LED pods included with this kit feature a distinctive backlight in a vibrant red color which functions as an additional accent light while driving! The backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a more unique and modern look than the small indicator LEDs found in other products.
SafetyStrobe 4th Brake Light. The C1R and C2R options features a high-power red function to serve as a powerful 4th brake light, along with the low-power running light. The high-power red functionality activates anytime you apply your brakes, adding a 4th brake light to your vehicle.
The C1R and C2R also feature optional brake light strobing, which can be activated in 15-second intervals. By default, the high-power red brake light will flash three times when the brake lights are initially applied. The SafetyStrobe feature can be easily disabled if desired.
Focused. Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, so not all of the light shines on target. Instead, the custom-engineered TIR optic in our Stage Series pods collects all of the light from the LED, and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency.
From there, while other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the custom-molded TIR optic in the Stage Series LED pods serves as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output (patent pending). Thanks to this innovative feature, when coupled with high-intensity LED chips, the total intensity of our pods is much greater than other LED pods using basic optics or reflectors with a standard outer lens.
Functional Patterns. All Stage Series beam patterns were designed with optical simulation modeling, to shape the output in a highly-functional beam pattern.
Flood pattern was designed to provide uniform, even illumination with a full 50x50 degree spread of light on the SSC1 LED pod, and a 70x45 degree spread on the C2 2.0 LED pod. Unlike generic "flood" lights that are simply a heavily diffused spotlight, our flood pattern uses pillow optics on the outer lens surface, to provide a true optically designed spread, for even illumination throughout.
Sport, Pro or Max. Both the SSC1 and C2 2.0 LED pods are available in Sport and Pro power levels. Both options use high-intensity LED emitters, and TIR optics for unmatched focus and overall output. However, the Pro option offers a noticeable boost in total power.
The C2 2.0 LED pod is now available in a new Max power level! These LED pods use the same Osram HX Boost LEDs found in our highest-output SS3 LED pods, delivering 3900 raw lumens. That’s serious brightness from an LED pod that still fits in the palm of your hand.
