Rear Seat Pet Protection (Cover, Platform, Protector)?

Hey Everyone I have a small 20lb dog and will be taking a long road trip. Looking for a rear seat pet platform/protector and was wondering in anyone has purchased or had experience with one of these products? Thanks in advance for the help!

We have 35 lbs Australian Shepard mix. He's just 10 months old and gets car sick. This seat has been good because he can sit up higher and it is easy to clean. The brand is Petsfit Dog Car seat and you can get it off of Amazon. We were using a full back seat protector, but this seems to be a better solution for smaller dogs. On longer trips, he just curls up and sleeps. It is really well padded.

I used to let my longhair dachshunds (male: 20lbs / female: 15lbs) sit in the front passenger seat until my previous car was totaled in 2025. Fortunately, they were not in the vehicle during the collision. Now they travel secured in their back seat lounge. What I love about this product is that it is easy to clean and is water proof if there is a potty slip, water bowl spillage and dropped food/treats. I've had everything from rainy day paws to Grand Canyon mud on this and it cleans unbelievably quick and easy. In my opinion, the only draw back to this product are the attachment straps that keep the dogs attached to the lounge. I upgraded those to a bungie style.

The dogs have no complaints being in the back. They are more relaxed and there's plenty of pillow space for their heads. I could easily fit a third dachshund with no comfort issues to any of them.
