I gout of work on Monday and threw my full, 1 liter bottle of water on the passenger seat like I always do and embarked upon my brutal 90 minute commute home.

I don't think I caught it until the next morning, but almost all the contents of that water bottle leaked out onto the seat. I drive into work that morning with the windows upon to try and dry things out, let it sit in the parking lot with the windows open all day to get air flow going, drove home with the windows open, and once home let it sit in the hot sun for the next 4-5 hours with all the doors open. I did the same thing the next day.

Everything seemed to be dried out buy late Wednesday evening and started testing out the seat functionality to make sure everything works, and I am now realizing that the passenger side seat vents do not seem to work and I don't know if thats because of the water or if they never worked. I press the button for that on the passenger side, and hear no fan going on like I hear on the drivers side, and feel no air flow. Fortunately I think the seat heaters still work.

What are the odds that the seat vents no longer work due to water damage ?

are you in eco or s-flow ? some modes on a/c prevent 'empty seat' climate control, to save energy
