Pacific Northwest Rain - Tires ?

Hey Ladies & Gents. New TRD Pro owner here. Got my rig about a week ago, and we're currently getting a good summer rainfall here in the PNW (Vancouver Island specifically - Canada) It's coming down good. I have Toyo Open Country A/T 265/70R18. (Stock in Canada) went around a corner today at an intersection and defs slipped good (wasn't speeding) but wasn't going like a snail either.... suggestions for a better tire for where I live? OR do I have a great tire for up here...and this was just a random slip event (new rain -- roads are slick etc) feedback welcome. Cheers

I haven’t ran them myself but I heard Wildpeaks are great in lots of rain.

I’m on my 3rd set of Nokian Outposts (nAT) and they have been awesome! Rain, snow, and anything off road.

Ran them in BC, AB, and ON
