No rear seat grab bars or coat hooks - disappointed

So far I love my new 4-Runner Limited Hybrid - we were off to funeral and I went to hang my sport jacket in the back seat. No hook! No Grab bar either! Why did toyota d on this? I had to open the tailgate and use the one in the cargo area. Ugh

Must learned from Ford. Save a couple bucks per truck. My 1st 4x4 was a Ford full size Bronco. They didn't even put drain plugs on differentials and transmission to save a few $. Most parts were just friction pressed fit to quickly roll out the factory. Never again.

Why wouldn't they put grab bars. I went to the cleaners and tried hanging my clothes and no bar or hook. Is there any aftermarket bars with hooks out there? HELP!!!!

It’s odd, the entire headliner and roof seems different from the 22,23&24. Yea. It was a disappointing find. When we travel, the cargo area is packed with suitcases. We hang our jackets or wife’s dresses in the back seat. Now it’s screweie. Maybe they will add them to the 26’s. Funny. Not one review ever picked up on this issue

Just ordered these on Amazon, 5 bucks for a 4 pack and they do the trick for hanging jackets, grocery bags, purses, etc behind the driver and passenger seats.

What is the measurement from the lower part of the hook to the floor?

I don't have my 4R yet so can't measure for you, but I would imagine if you're looking to hang a jacket, assuming it's 40% of your overall height (which is an average) then you could assume it'll be able to hang without touching the floor. Of course it depends on things like the seat adjustment, your height, the particular jacket, etc.

In previous cars I'd throw a carabiner onto the headrest to accomplish the same thing, and with those you can control the size of the carabiner so may prefer to do something like that (smaller carabiner = higher hanging level). I just think the hooks look nicer.

I was thinking the same thing, but the 4runner will be my wife's mainly and I was wondering about any clothes she might need to hang when she travels for work every once in a while.
