My first 4r is here, in love with this color. | RTT advice.

I’ve wanted a 4runner ever since I knew about it… some guy decided to total my OBW a few weeks ago… and so here it is.

I can’t get over the Everest color.

This ORP came with a shit ton of factory and port installed options. Pro wheels, pre wired aux switches, roof rack are the biggest highlights. The dealership knocked off 4.5k off of the window sticker price and landed 63k - not at all bad for all the options (oh and this is the hybrid). I kind of didn’t want the roof rack but I’m happy with the deal and this is what was available.

First thing I’m gonna look at is sleeping situation. I have a Thule Tepui Foothill that I used with my OBW but I had to take it on/off before and after each trip since the garage at my work doesn’t have enough clearance. With the 4r’s roof rack and presumably even lesser dynamic load capacity of this roof with the moonroof, that is simply not an option anymore. So I’m looking for an RTT.

My first, probably dumb, question is: is there a single person install RTT ? long shot but I thought I’ll ask since I will need to take it on and off.

I originally ordered the same blue color but changed my order to the Wind Chill Pearl. I really like it better. The blue was just too baby blue for me.

This isn’t the Heritage Blue color, it’s Everest. I liked heritage blue at first but in person it looked too poppy. Everest looks much better in person.

You’re right - I looked closely at the 2 again. I do like this all black however more than the machine finished ones stock on OR
