Hello, new member here!
Please ignore my lack of knowledge, as this is my first truck build, coming from the world of lowered vehicles.

Recently picked up my ORP and about to order a set of wheels, but trying to determine a few things before I purchase.
With everyone going the leveling kit route and bigger tires, has anyone run into issues with parkades?
I realized a lot of the parkades I frequent, including work, the max heights are 6'6 - so I'm trying to determine if something like a westcott preload collar kit or rough country 1.5-2" leveling kit on 285/70/17 or 285/75/17 would push me over.

I'd love to eventually get a low profile roof rack as well.

Appreciate any guidance, it's nice being on this side and not having to worry about speed bumps any more.

I will say that the Westcott doesn't really make the truck much higher maybe .75 an inch its mostly bringing the front end up inline with the rear. I don't think a roof rack will add any height over running the stock roof rails if you have them. According to chat GPT your ride stock is 73.6 inches tall which puts you just shy of 6ft 2 inches. TRD Pro with its roof rack is at 75.5

I will say the Westcott is probably the best kit that just bolts on.

Toyota web site (4Runner specs ) says the ORP height is 73.6" (with Trailhunter and Pro at 74") - "Overall height (does not include roof rails or roof rack)".
The OEM rails are about 2.5 inches. The OEM cross bars sit another ~2 inches above that. (eyeballing - probably close to 5 inches total additional height but not sure).
This would indicate a problem for your 6'6" parkade (cool term - more concise than parking garage). BUT my experience with that setup is that I just cleared under a bar labeled 6'6". AND I measured the height (top of vehicle - below rails) to be just under 72" vs the spec of just under 74". This is all stock.

I believe that stock without crossbars your ORP will be right around 6'6" by spec at the top of the rails (but spec may be generous). The 285/70R17 are virtually identical diameter to the stock 265/70R18 so no issue there. The 285/75R17 add a bit more than an inch from stock so without rails would put you at 6'7" but there might be some leeway with overstated stock height. That is all before lifting. (curious what 17" wheels you are getting - I'm putting 285/70 on the 18" TRD Pro wheels)

TL/DR: you are correct to be concerned. Stock likely clears 6'6" - and probably can replace rails with low profile rack and be OK. Add crossbars and bigger tires - likely not.

thank you very much for your insight
I can fit through the parkade in stock form, however I didn't get a chance to measure or eyeball how much room I had, so you really did help me answer a bunch of questions.
I had assumed the roof rails were part of the 73.6", so that really does help me paint a better picture of how much additional roof I have.

Wheels I am planning on ordering are either the Advan RG-D2 or SCS Gen5 in the high polish.

I guess I'll have to do wheels/tires first and pray they fit without issue, then I can figure out the lift situation after.

And now I think your assumption is correct. I hated having to guess so much above and the inconsistency between the web site spec, your assumption and my previous measurement of ~71.3” to top of body not including rails.
so I just remeasured. The rails sit 1.5” above highest part of body at center of roof. The cross bars sit 3.75” above top of body.
Notably, the shark fin antenna sits about 1/2 inch above the rails.
SO…. I think the statement on the spec web site is a misnomer - the 73.6 height includes the rails but they are not the high point of stock vehicle (rails are an option on ORP) - the antenna is.
I’m not reporting my remeasurement to the ground because I’ve got ~200# of wheels and dog food in back of the truck right now and my measurement now would be unreliable - but its about 3/4” lower than previous empty measurement.
Bottom line: you have more leeway for tires and lift and rack than I originally projected. How much more? …

I'm trying to determine the same thing. I would add that most parkades that are labelled as 6'-6" often has a bit more clearance. I measured my work parade (labelled as 6'-6") and it had 80" of clearance everywhere I could measure.
