What is the largest size battery that will fit in the space for the cranking battery for a 6th-gen non-hybrid? I always go for the largest battery that will fit, for higher CCA and reserve capacity.
I've seen some statements that a Group 27F will fit, but don't know whether that's true or, if true, whether new tray is required. Anyone have experience with this size?
I've also seen a claim that a Group 31 will fit with modifications (larger tray & longer cables).
