Hands Free Close & Lock Walk Away Proximity Locking

Has anyone gone to dealer and ask them about this feature from the owners manual? It would be nice for car to auto lock and close hatch to match other car manufactures. I asked my dealer they don't know about it like if my 2025 4Runner ORP has this feature or not. They plan to charge $222 if the feature exist in the car.
Haven't decided if I wanted close & lock due to having to leave key in car. Might be annoying to have to open trunk when I need to make multiple trips to the car. I plan to do this at some point.

I know my TH has this because it has done it on my twice while I was in my garage walking around with my fob in my pocket. I can check the Carista app later and see if there were any settings for this, I don't remember last time I loaded it up.

FYI. Finally booted up Carista. I think this is the setting that is making my car lock. It's because I was grabbing things out of the back window. So technically unlocking the car but not opening a door.

Yeah you can do that inside the care settings. If you unlock the car with the handle or key it will relock. The setting I was talking about is proximity so when you turn off car you just close door and walk away - and you car will lock on its own. or if your trunk is open it will auto close and lock car as you walk away.

I went to the dealer today and had them try to turn it on. in their techstream software they do not see the hands free option. So far it looks like the car does not have this feature even though its in the owners manual. Tomorrow there tech manager is going to look more into this and if they can figure it out they will do it otherwise they will refund 1 hour labor they charged me.
