Hi all. I just uploaded my install video for Westcott Designs Rock Sliders. Westcott doesnt have install instructions or video so I was doing this blind.

Hopefully this video will help those of you considering this.

In theory its a very simple install. Only 8 fasteners per side. But the challenge is the fasteners. Three types. 3 regular bolts. 3 nylock nuts on special bolts that require an allen to hold and two rivnuts.

I also ordered raw metal and painted myself using a process ive used in the past with great success.

Here is the link to the video that details what why and how.

Then some pics. Hope this helps someone! Feel free to ask questions.

Thanks for the video! I just watched it on YouTube & it's great. I have been waiting for Westcott to do an install video for the 2025 4Runner w/their rocksliders but so far they have not. Which has been disappointing --- I spoke with Jason @ Westcott about 6 or 8 weeks ago, at which time he said they were working on one. But that was then, this is now & your video has filled that void for me &answers a question or two I had --- particularly about the riv nut installation. I think a riv nut install tool is in my future, right after Westcott puts those sliders on sale. Thanks again!!

Thanks! The rivnut install was hard the way I did it. Waiting for the M12 bit for my tool would have been the way. But Im a dumbass and like to do things the hard way! Lol.

Although I will say that the nylocks were also a pain in the ass. Good luck on your install!
